A Pancheon was a multi-purpose bowl used in the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries. In addition to being used as a mixing bowl, this thick-lipped pan was used to proof bread dough as well as separate cream from milk. Approximately 5-1/2” tall by 11” wide. Made of diswasher-safe redware; slip decorated, and finished with lead-free food-safe glaze. Not recommended for microwave use.
