Also called Continental Colors, this was the British red ensign with added white bars. The first US national flag, it was used from 1775 to 1777. It symbolized independence while retaining ties to England. This flag is polyester that is silk screen printed. Not as pretty as a cotton flag or as authentic but it is cheaper and you can leave it in the rain without ruining it. Approximately 3' X 5'.
