Measure across the brow and above the ears where you wish the hatband to sit on your head when you wear the hat.
If you plan to wear your hat over something else (such as a wig or bandana), take your head measurement while wearing your wig or bandana.
Be sure to give an exact measurement, being careful not to add any additional length to the measurement. Do not use clothing label sizes for any measurements as they will almost assuredly be incorrect.
