Mashers were the 18th-century food processor, turning any heavy kitchen bowl into a mortar. Want to make mashed potatoes like Grandma? A masher is what you need (as well as grandma’s recipe). This masher will also work perfectly as a pie dolly (a form) around which you can make a standing crust for meat pie. The business-end of this utensil measures 2-1/2” in diameter. Its overall 12-1/2” length allows you to get a good grip on it with both hands. It’s made right here in Indiana of hard maple – turned, sanded, and polished by skilled woodworker Royce Beigh, the same craftsman who makes a number of the spoons we offer. Masher and Pancheon sold separately.
