Bottles similar to these were manufactured throughout the 1700's, but this particular bottle with it's pig-snot spout best represents those manufactured in the latter half of the 1700's. Case bottles typically stored distilled spirits, such as brandy, rum, whiskey, and gin. These corked bottles are approximately 8” high, and hold about 24 oz. Made of green glass, with a flat bottom and flat sizes, perfect for storing in compartment boxes. Imported.
